Where to watch the sunset in Menorca?
Cavalleria Lighthouse
The sunset from the cliffs of Cavalleria Lighthouse is truly marvelous. The lighthouse is located near the town of Fornells, making it the perfect option to end your day in the northern part of the island.
Getting to the lighthouse is easy, although during the summer months we recommend going early, as there is only one two-way road and both the area and the parking lot tend to fill up with tourists even hours before sunset. Be patient, it’s worth it!
Punta Nati Lighthouse
Punta Nati Lighthouse also offers an incredible sunset experience, but in a more accessible way from Ciutadella. Located just 10 minutes by car from the city, this lighthouse is a must-visit during your days in Menorca.
To get there, you just need to follow the signs from Ciutadella and then take a short path until you reach a parking area where you can leave your vehicle. Then, you just have to walk a little further to reach the lighthouse.
Just like at Cavalleria Lighthouse, we recommend going early.
Cova d’En Xoroi
Cova d’en Xoroi, an iconic place on the island, is located inside a cave in the south of Menorca. Located in Cala en Porter, it is another one of the best places to watch the sunset in Menorca. Plus, you can enjoy the show while having a drink or a refreshment, accompanied by live music.
At Cova d’En Xoroi, you have to pay an entrance fee to watch the sunset, but it’s worth it as the place and the views are simply spectacular. You can buy tickets online here.

El Pont d’en Gil
One of the tourist spots in Menorca is El Pont d’en Gil, which is also a good place to watch the sunset.
It is located near Ciutadella and it is a rock bridge that rises above the sea. Another option is to rent a boat and position yourself in the area until the show begins. It doesn’t get any better than that!
Artrutx Sea Club - Cala'n Bosch
Atrutx Sea Club is the perfect spot in Menorca to enjoy a spectacular sunset while dining. With a magical ambiance, it offers modern high-quality cuisine and impeccable service. While the prices may reflect the views more than the dishes, the experience is well worth it.

Son Bou Beach
Near the town of Alaior, we find Son Bou Beach, the longest beach in Menorca. It is a place where the sand merges perfectly with its crystal-clear waters. Despite being in the southern part of the island, it is a good place to witness a sunset on the seashore or in one of the beach bars.
Monte Toro
Monte Toro is another tourist spot in Menorca, and it is the highest point on the island, with its 358 meters above sea level. To fully enjoy the sunset, we recommend choosing a clear day. From Monte Toro, you can practically see all the points of the island, but above all, you will have a clear view of the bay of Port de Fornells.
Isla del Rey - Mahón Harbor
Isla del Rey is located within the Mahón harbor and is easily accessible by a ferry that takes about 15 minutes. Here you can stroll around, visit a museum, and explore the remains of a 6th-century Paleo-Christian basilica.
We took the boat ride back around 8:30 PM, and the sunset views were spectacular.
Isabella Beach Club
Isabella Beach Club is the perfect place in Menorca to enjoy a stunning sunset. It boasts exceptional and friendly service and a varied menu, ranging from typical tapas to sushi. The relaxed atmosphere and sea views make this place a wonderful option for experiencing one of the best sunsets in Menorca.
