Additionally, it has a small terrace to enhance your experience. It fills up quickly, so if Sa Botiga is your choice, we recommend making a reservation.
With a local and authentic atmosphere, it’s one of the spots where Mahón residents meet friends for a pleasant time.
Bar Marcelino
Bar Marcelino, located inside the Mercat des Claustre, is another new bar that has won the hearts of many local diners. It’s run by the same owners as Can Vermut, a restaurant also recommended in our list of the best restaurants in Mahón’s harbor.
Among the standout dishes are the famous “Marcelinos,” smoked eggplant, and octopus salad. However, the menu is written on a chalkboard, so there’s a frequent rotation of dishes. The best approach is to ask for recommendations from the attentive and professional staff.

Bar Pasaje, de Madrid al cielo
Bar Pasaje de Madrid al cielo is located near Plaza Miranda. Though a bit hidden, it’s well worth finding as the food is exceptional.
The place is small but has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The quality of the food at Bar Pasaje is undeniable, with highlights including sea bass, creamy rice, pickled mussels, and “soldadito de Pavía.”

Sa Granja
Sa Granja, located in central Mahón, stands out for both its excellent location on a pedestrian street and its good food. The menu at Sa Granja is based on tapas, some available on the menu and others at the bar, all homemade and prepared with great care.
The quality of the dishes is very good, and the price is very reasonable for the quality.
Sa Bodega

The place is small with few tables, so it often gets crowded. However, they have a spacious terrace right in the town hall square for a pleasant summer dinner.
